GEORGE NEWS - The Housing Department of the George Municipality hosted a Housing Database Upgrade & Verification day in Touwsranten last Thursday.
Staff assisted residents to complete new housing applications, verify existing applications and update existing applications. Six (6) title deeds were handed over to home owners.
248 residents signed the attendance register but many more attended without signing in.
36 new applications were completed and 30 updates were done. Many complaints were registered and enquiries dealt with.
