GEORGE POLITICAL NEWS - The EFF party will join the battle for custody of four wards in George during the coming by-elections on 11 November.
The candidates are as follows: Piet Malgas (Ward 27, Pacaltsdorp); Rosina Lombaard (Ward 17, Conville); Serge Pieterson (Ward 8, Parkdene) and Verde Klassen (Ward 14, Rosedale).
"As the third biggest party in South Africa and the Western Cape, we boast veteran community activists known in their respective communities," said EFF regional spokesperson Hein Scheepers.
EFF president Julius Malema is expected in George during the first week of November to run a door-to-door pre-election campaign with the candidates.
