10-month-old baby airlifted on N1
A ten-month-old baby was airlifted by Netcare1.
NATIONAL NEWS - Traffic on the N1 south was at a standstill when a 10-month-old baby was airlifted to hospital after a taxi accident last night.

Netcare 911 spokesperson Santi Steinmann said the baby was in a critical condition after a taxi overturned near the Olifantsfontein Road exit around 18:00.

“The taxi just overturned. It did not collide with any other vehicle,” Steinmann said.

The baby’s mother suffered serious injuries.

Steinmann said there were multiple patients on the scene, but could not confirm the exact number.
