Professor Narnia Bohler-Muller is currently executive director of the Africa Institute of South Africa and the Human Sciences Research Council.
A number of candidates have so far been questioned about whether they’ve made full disclosure, with two admitting to judgments for debt against them.
Professor Bohler-Muller took issue with the fact that the university wrote to the committee about her disciplinary hearing. She says she did disclose the matter – and that it was struck off her record three years ago.
