The 64 year old man was arrested in his Langenhoven Park-home after female genital-parts were found in his freezer.
According to Breedt’s testimony, the accused entered the country unlawfully, as his movements could also not be monitored.
The National Population Register indicates that he is single, while upon further investigation by Breedt, it was established that he is married to one Vivian in Denmark. His Lesotho-wife, who reported him to the police, was shot and killed as she left her Lesotho home last month.
The accused recently appointed Nthama Lithabe as his lawyer after he fired Adriaan van Rensburg, who represented him since his arrest.
