As indicated by the earlier teaser, the hand-assembled SV Coupe will only seat four and despite sharing visual similarities with both the Range Rover Sport and normal Range Rover, shares only the bonnet and lower tailgate with its brethren and features blacked-out pillars and frameless windows.
Boasting a Brunel Metallic rear mesh overlay and a Bright Chrome grille with a Satin Indus Silver metal surround, the SV Coupe also features a Range Rover badge handcrafted form Bright Chrome/Black Knurled, side vents from Brunel Metallic and Satin Indus Silver metal window surrounds.
Riding on wheel sizes ranging from 21 to 23-inches, the latter a Range Rover first, the interior comes finished in a choice of four duo-tone colours made to match the time of day; Orchid / Eclipse, Orchid / Vintage Tan, Brogue / Ebony and Cirrus / Lunar, four wood finishes on the centre console, dashboard, steering wheel, door cards, boot floor and instrument cluster, graded diamond quilted semi-aniline leather reportedly from a tannery founded in 1905, the dual Touch Pro Duo 10-inch display, 12-inch instrument cluster, full colour Heads-Up Display and a 1 700-watt 23-speaker Meridian 3D Signature Sound System.
Despite its luxury appointments, the SV Coupe still comes equipped with Land Rover's Terrain Response system, five channel air suspension, an overall ride height decreased by eight millimetres compared to the standard Range Rover and a wading depth of 900 mm.
Proving forward motivation is the now familiar 5.0-litre supercharged V8 that produces 416 kW and 700 Nm of torque, linked to a eight-speed automatic gearbox. Top speed is a claimed 266 km/h with Land Rover maintaining a 0-100 km/h sprint time of 5.3 seconds.
In the UK, pricing for the SV Coupe will start at £240 000 (R3 921 412) sans personalisation options.
