Available in either G350d or G500 guises, the Designo Manufaktur Edition gets 21-inch alloy wheels, colour finished spare wheel cover and on the inside, black nappa leather with red stitching, matching AMG Performance steering wheel, red seatbelts, black piano lacquer detailing, black leather grab handles and special Designo Manufaktur Edition badging.

Prices in Germany start at €109 788 (R1 589 388) for the G350d and at €121 683 (R1 761 591) for the G500.

Exclusive Edition

Based on the AMG-G63 and flagship AMG-G65, the Exclusive benefits from 21-inch light alloy wheels or in the case of the G65, ceramically polished wheels, stainless skidplate, black AMG exterior detailing, dark aluminium strip inserts and a special AMG Monza Grey Mango paint finish.

Inside, the Exclusive gets a two-tone leather trimmed dashboard, AMG sport seats finished in nappa leather with diamond quilted pattern, AMG Performance steering wheel, leather grab handles and red seatbelts.

Only surpassed by the Maybach G650 Landaulet, the Exclusive Edition is priced at €163 125 (R2 361 542) in Germany for the G63 and at a eye-popping €287 658 (R4 164 392) for the G65.
