In a departure from the outgoing model, the new Sport features a completely redesigned dash with a new touchscreen display taking pride of place, against red inserts extending down the side of the centre console and below the electric window switches. The new sports flat bottom steering wheels gets red stitching, with the same applying to the Sport embossed seats.
Reportedly tipping the scales from as low as 870 kg, the Swift Sport will drop the normally aspirated 1.6-litre engine for a 1.4-litre turbo developing 103 kW and 220 Nm of torque. A six-speed manual gearbox will be standard with a first six-speed automatic optional.
