According to Indian online platform fly-wheel.com, the monster G will carry the Maybach-G650 designation and as per the images, adopt a Landaulet roof configuration, the first Mercedes-Maybach to do so since the ill-fated 62 S in 2007.
As well as boasting a set of chunky side-steps, partition between the front and rear as well as a pair of TFT display screens, the G650 will drop the 4x4²'s 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 for the regular G65's 6.0-litre bi-turbo V12, developing 463 kW and 1000 N.m of torque.
Pricing has not yet been revealed although only a reported 99 examples will be made.
