Said to pay homage to "automotive haute couture", the Vision 6 Cabriolet retains the coupe's boat tail inspired ear end, split opening bonnet, chrome grille, rear diffuser with aluminium frame, slim front and rear lights and short windscreen, but drops the expansive hardtop roof for a custom made Cream White fabric soft-top interwoven with rose gold threads.
Finished in a colour called Nautical Blue Metallic, the Cabriolet also gets 24-inch centre locking alloy wheels again painted in rose gold, and on the inside, quilted crystal white Nappa leather seats, open-pore wood flooring with aluminium inserts, rose gold trim, transparent centre tunnel with blue fibre optics, twin Heads-Up Displays, blue mood lighting, floating air vents and a wraparound digital instrument cluster.
Like the Coupe, the Cabriolet boasts a complete electric drivetrain setup with four motors producing a claimed 550 kW, allowing the four-wheel drive Vision 6 to complete the 0-100 km/h sprint in "under four seconds", reach a limited top speed of 250 km/h, and go 500 km on a single charge. A quick-charging function however allows the Vision 6 to produce 350 kW, with Mercedes-Maybach also claiming an additional range of 100 km after five minutes being plugged-in.
At present, the Vision 6 Cabriolet is not expected to reach production anytime soon.
