GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - Very cold, wet and windy conditions are expected over the interior of the Western Cape and Namakwa district on Monday, 9 June.
Possible snowfall is expected over high-lying areas and mountain peaks leading to icy road conditions especially over the Beaufort West Municipality in the Western Cape.
Impact based weather warnings
A. Yellow level 2 warning for damaging waves leading to difficulty in navigation at sea is expected between Saldanha Bay Plettenberg Bay until Monday morning.
B. Yellow level 3 warning for disruptive snow leading to icy road conditions causing major traffic disruptions especially the N1 highway is expected over the Beaufort West municipality on Monday.
According to Snow Report SA, it has snowed on the Swartberg mountains on Sunday.
