GEORGE NEWS - The Wilderness Ratepayers and Residents Association (WRRA) has launched a new website, Wilderness Uncovered, aimed at promoting the scenic beauty, history and attractions of Wilderness to residents and visitors.
The website, titled Wilderness Uncovered, features detailed articles on well-known landmarks as well as lesser-known places of interest in the area.
According to the WRRA, a small local team researched and compiled the content to provide readers with comprehensive information about Wilderness and its surrounding attractions.
The platform also links users to additional resources and organisations, including SANParks and the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (Wessa).
The website includes a wide range of photographs of the natural beauty of the region and is intended to improve awareness and understanding of the area's environmental, historical and recreational offerings.
The WRRA said the project is ongoing, and more articles and features will be added over time. The public is encouraged to interact with the platform by commenting, asking questions and providing feedback.
The WRRA, established in 1971, is a registered non-profit organisation representing the interests of the Wilderness community. Contact them via email.
Beautiful Wilderness is showcased on the newly launched website of the WRRA, titled Wilderness Uncovered.
