GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Wilderness is officially the Western Cape finalist in Kwêla’s Dorp van die Jaar 2025!

Wilderness kicked sand in the eyes of the other two western Cape semi-finalists, Sedgefield and Riversdal, securing the most votes from residents who voted for the picturesque seaside town in large numbers in April.
According to an elated statement by the George Municipality, the big vote kicks off on 13 July when residents can start to vote for their favourite town.
Wilderness will be competing against the finalists in all eight other provinces, as well as a town from Namibia.
The municipality encourages everyone to vote, saying we should bring home the title of Wilderness.
