GEORGE NEWS - George Herald journalist Marguerite van Ginkel married her long-time partner, Kobus van Zyl, on Tuesday 31 March at the picturesque Glentana Beach.
The intimate ceremony marked 12 years together and a meaningful milestone in their journey as a couple.
Van Ginkel, who joined the editorial team in October last year, described the day as everything they had dreamed of and more.
"I always wanted to get married with my feet nestled in soft beach sand, next to a roaring ocean and a beautiful sunset."
Much to the delight of the couple and their guests, a pod of dolphins played in the surf during the ceremony.

The couple shared the special day with a close group of much-loved friends and family. Reflecting on the celebration, Marguerite and Kobus said they felt immense gratitude for a perfect day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.
