Update
GEORGE NEWS - One person sustained moderate injuries and was transported to hospital by ER24 paramedics after a car accident involving two cars on the Outeniqua Pass this morning, Monday 8 August.
Two other people involved in the accident did not need hospitalisation.
The exact cause of the accident could not be confirmed yet, but motorists are asked to reduce speed on the pass in wet weather.
All lanes are open again in the Outeniqua Pass after the accident scene was cleared.
