GEORGE NEWS - The Pacaltsdorp Police are investigating two murders after two men, aged 56 and 18 years, were murdered in separate incidents in the early hours this morning.
According to provincial police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk, the body of the 56-year-old was found in Protea Road around 02:22.
"Police members attended a complaint where the deceased was found lying on his back on the road surface in Protea Road. He had a stab wound in his ribcage under his left arm and small open wounds between his eyebrows and above his left eye," said Van Wyk.
"In another incident at about 01:42 an 18-year-old man was stabbed and fatally injured near Crossandra Street in New Dawn Park."
According to reports the deceased was found in grass in Crossandra Street. He had a stab wound to the left side of his neck.
Van Wyk added that the motive is currently unknown.
A suspect (18) was arrested and will appear in court once charged.
