GEORGE NEWS - A cargo truck that was carrying meat destined for a butchery in George overturned in the Outeniqua Pass at 14:45 today, 31 May.
According to the provincial traffic chief for George, Quinton Williams, there were no injuries.
He said according to the driver the accident happened after he misjudged a turn in the road.
George provincial traffic officials attended to the scene.
According to information received, the meat was destined to be delivered at Hartman & Sons Butchery.
They sent their own cold storage truck to the scene to load and transport the meat.
The scene has been cleared.
There were no injuries.
The meat is safely loaded over onto the Hartman truck.
