GEORGE NEWS - Sentiara, a new local animal welfare organisation started by senior inspector Salomé Bruyns, is hosting its very first fundraiser on Saturday 31 May at 13:00 at Her Empire.
Bruyns has more than two decades of experience in animal welfare and is well known in George for her massive contribution in the field.
She invites the public to be part of an inspiring afternoon in support of a great cause.
Guests will enjoy a lovely meal with a pudding and will meet Stevie Wonder, Sentiara's incredible blind rescue dog. The touching story of his journey will be shared with guests.
Sentiara is a newly established non-profit company (NPC) focused on education and outreach programmes to promote responsible animal care and make a lasting impact in communities.
"We invite people to be part of the change by supporting a cause that matters," says Bruyns.
