GEORGE NEWS - Residents of the Garden Route are invited to attend a series of safety imbizos aimed at strengthening community safety and engagement with law enforcement.
The meetings will take place across the region and will be attended by the Western Cape Minister for Police Oversight and Community Safety, Anroux Marais, along with local police leadership and municipal representatives.
Community members will have the opportunity to raise safety concerns, ask questions and engage directly with the authorities.
The Conville Police Station's commander, Colonel Anton Stander, has extended a special invitation to all residents to attend the meetings.
He encouraged the public to use this opportunity to engage openly with police and other stakeholders on issues affecting safety in their communities.
The safety imbizos form part of ongoing efforts to promote co-operation between communities, the police and government in building safer neighbourhoods across the Garden Route.
