GEORGE NEWS - Hosted by the Abbi Geldenhuys Academy of Ballet, this collaborative showcase brings together eight local dance schools for a weekend of performances at the George Arts Theatre in support of animal sterilisation initiatives in underprivileged communities.
Audiences can look forward to a variety of dance styles, including ballet, ballroom, Spanish dance, tap, contemporary and gumboot dancing.
Performances take place on:
- Friday, 15 May at (15:00 and 19:00)
- Saturday, 16 May at 15:00 with a Gala Performance on Saturday, 16 May at 19:00.
Tickets:
- Scholars under 12: R100
- Adults: R150
- Gala Performance: R250 (formal/black tie, 18+ only, snacks and wine included)
Guests are encouraged to bring pet food or animal accessories as part of their contribution.
