GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality's main building is closed to the public due to a pipe burst in the building which has caused considerable damage. 

They will re-open on 3 January 2023.

Cashiers will remain open today and tomorrow, 29 and 30 December. The cashier hall is open from 08:00 until 15:30. 
Cleaning has started and staff are working as quickly as possible to clear wet corridors and ceilings that have caved in. 

Lifts are out of order at this stage.
