GEORGE NEWS - The public is hereby informed that, following continued concerns regarding reckless driving in the parking area by motorists accessing the municipal gate at the Victoria Street entrance, and to ensure the safety of pedestrians and employees, a decision has been made to permanently close the Victoria Street entrance to the George municipality main building.
The Victoria Street entry gate to the municipality will be permanently closed from Thursday 1 August.
This action has been taken to address the issue of reckless driving in the parking area.
