Feel the wind in your sails at the GLYC's open day this Sunday 16 February.

GEORGE NEWS - For the last seventy years, George Lakes Yacht Club (GLYC) has been sharing their passion for sailing. 

The club invites families and individuals to visit them on their open day, Sunday, 16 February at Island Lake from 12:00.

You will see what a Club Regatta day looks like, what rigging a vessel entails, and what to do when there is no wind or lots of wind - depending on the weather!

Meet the sailors, both old and young, and learn more about the club and development school.

Sailing teaches resilience, problem-solving, self-reliance and a spirit of adventure. It is also a fantastic family activity.
