GEORGE NEWS - One person was hospitalised after an Isuzu bakkie collided with a provincial traffic vehicle, a white VW Golf GTI, on the R404 near Herold's Bay earlier this week.
A case of reckless and negligent driving was opened following the accident on Tuesday morning, 30 July.
According to George police communications officer, Capt Nolonwabu Tshengu, both vehicles were driving in the direction of George from Herold's Bay when the driver (33) of a white VW Golf GTI, a provincial traffic vehicle, allegedly made a U-turn in the road and the Isuzu bakkie hit the Golf on the driver's side in the middle of the road.
