GEORGE NEWS - Thembalethu police have opened an inquest docket following the recovery of a man’s body from the water at Ballots Bay near Thembalethu on Saturday 3 January, at approximately 08:40.
According to available reports, police divers were dispatched to the scene after the body washed up on the rocks.
The deceased was later airlifted from the area with assistance from EMS.
The body has not yet been formally identified. It is believed that the body is in the advanced stages of decomposition.
