GEORGE NEWS - With her soulful eyes and gentle nature, Lady is the kind of dog who quietly works her way straight into your heart.
This sweet girl has had a long journey.
She was surrendered to the Garden Route SPCA as a stray, but her story is beautiful and she is deserving of the most amazing home.
For much of her life, Lady roamed a local rural community, often spending her days near a primary school where she became familiar and much-loved among the children.
Unfortunately, due to rules and regulations, Lady was no longer allowed to visit her human friends at school. She was taken away from everything and everyone familiar to her and now finds herself in a place she doesn't understand.
Despite her uncertain past, Lady’s spirit and affection are next level.
She is as sweet as they come. She is affectionate with people, wonderful with children, and happily social with other dogs.
Lady thrives on companionship and would fit in perfectly with an active family, especially one with a big, secure yard where she can run freely and safely.
While kind-hearted community members ensured she was fed and cared for, life on the streets is no place for a dog like Lady. She deserves stability, comfort, and a family who will give her the love and security she has always given so freely.
Think of her as a real-life, farm-style “Lassie” – loyal, loving, and always ready for an adventure or a long walk by your side.
Lady is waiting patiently at the Garden Route SPCA in George for someone to come and take her home.
If you’re looking for a devoted companion with a heart of gold, Lady might just be the perfect match.
