GEORGE NEWS - Garden Route Mall is bidding farewell to the Bridal Fair after 16 years.
The last Bridal Fair was hosted from 12 to 15 October where more than 30 exhibitors were displaying all the must-haves for planning a wedding day throughout the mall.
There were local buskers providing great entertainment over the four days and the showstopper was on Saturday when three bridal houses modelled their wedding gowns.
"The models walked through the whole mall and the customers were captivated. Overall, it was a stunning show, and several prizes were sponsored by tenants and suppliers," says the mall's marketing manager, Tumi Masango.
"We have had great partnerships with hosting the Bridal Fair and suppliers called as early as February to book space eight months in advance. It shows the impact and the platform that we created for the Garden Route.
"As mall management we would like to extend great appreciation to our local supporters over the years and the greater Garden Route. Thank you for bringing all your creativity and passion to all your displays. It was truly magical to see."
Masango said they will be replacing the Bridal Fair with a new and interesting expo that will be announced at a later stage.
