GEORGE NEWS - Garden Route Birds of Prey Rehab Centre will host an informative session at The Girls in Wilderness at 11:00 tomorrow, Saturday 24 May.
This special event is designed to educate the public about owls’ vital role in our ecosystem and how we can help protect them.
Experts from the centre will be on hand to answer your questions and share practical ways you can contribute to owl conservation in your area.
This is the perfect opportunity for nature lovers and families to learn about these mysterious nocturnal birds.
Donations are welcome, and all proceeds will go towards the rehabilitation centre.
Garden Route Birds of Prey in George was established in 2018 by Bertus and Lizette Beukes to provide a sanctuary for the rehabilitation of injured birds of prey and for birds that cannot be released back into nature.
The centre runs entirely on donations, and your support helps them continue the amazing work they do to protect and rehabilitate these special creatures.
