WILDERNESS NEWS - On Saturday morning, 15 October, the Wilderness Art Association together with some members of the community gathered at Fairy Knowe Backpackers to get started on the 1000 Drawings charity project.
Night of 1000 Drawings is an event of the Wilderness Art Festival due to take place from 21 to 23 April 2023.
The beneficiary of this charity drive is Seven Passes Initiative, an NPO that operates in Touwsranten and Wilderness Heights with various support and upliftment programmes.
The WAA together with the community managed to raise in excess of R35 000 at last year's festival and would like to encourage the community to get involved once more. Participants make an A5 doodle to donate and are asked to attend the evening event on 21 April 2023.

Doodles can be dropped off at the drop boxes at Cabesa Gallery (223 Leila's Lane, Wilderness), The Little Art Shop (Paddagat Centre, Courtenay St, George) and Art Savings Club (7 Memorium Street, George).
