GEORGE NEWS - The Friends of the George Museum made history by publishing its first electronic newsletter on Thursday 6 December.
The newsletter of ten pages will go to various arts, cultural, sport and business friends of the George Museum, and aims to get the community as a whole actively involved in the daily activities at the museum.
As supportive society, the Friends of the George Museum has appointed marketing officer Melissa Blaauw to take the museum to the business community of George, and assist in memberships and fundraising in various ways to develop the museum as the cultural and historical hub of the whole Garden Route district.
