GEORGE NEWS - Members of the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF) in the Southern Cape are invited to an information session hosted by the Association for Monitoring and Advocacy of Government Pensions (AMAGP) in George on Monday 14 September.
The session will take place at the Hub House, The Hub Business Centre, Groenkloof Village Retirement Estate, from 10:00 to 12:00.
According to Willem Engelbrecht of the AMAGP, the meeting will focus on the concerns it has raised regarding alleged improprieties and malfeasance involving the GEPF and the potential impact these issues could have on pensioners and members' pensions.
Representatives of the AMAGP will also discuss why they believe remaining in the GEPF rather than withdrawing pension savings at retirement might be a better option.
The session will include a question-and-answer opportunity.
Enquiries: Engelbrecht on 083 626 7965 or visit www.amagp.co.za.
The AMAGP is registered as a non-profit organisation.
