GEORGE NEWS - The enormously popular Lego Build-a-Thon was held on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 August at the Garden Route Mall by Play & Build Toys About 240 children participated over two days and amazed the crowds with truly elaborate and imaginative creations.
With over R10 000 in Lego prizes up for grabs, it was truly an exciting event.
The winners were as follows:
6 – 8 years: Juan Mells (1st), Hannah Dickenson (2nd) and Kyel Zonjee (3rd).
9 – 10 years: Louis du Plessis (1st), Luan Kemp (2nd) and Ryno Ferreira (3rd).
11+ years: Dyllan Bosch (1st), Michael Dickenson (2nd) and Tiardt Botes (3rd).
6 – 8 years: Caleb Grant (1st), Daniel Moelich (2nd) and Abigail du Plooy (3rd).
9 – 10 years: Troy Scholfield (1st), Albert Swanepoel (2nd) and Darrian Sour (3rd).
11+ years: Marco Swart (1st), Mark Heystek (2nd) and Bobby Brown (3rd).
