GEORGE NEWS - One person was hospitalised with minor injuries after an accident at Victoria Bay yesterday, 13 November.

According to Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies, a white Isuzu bakkie was traveling down the hill towards the beach when the driver allegedly lost control and collided with another vehicle.

The bakkie finally came to a halt on the lawn near the shop on the beachfront. No other injuries were reported.

“The cause of the accident is not yet known and an accident report was compiled,” said Spies.
