GEORGE NEWS - Rescue personnel and emergency services are currently on a scene on the road to Voëlklip after yet another vehicle recently went over the edge of a cliff.
Southern Cape police spokesperson, Sgt Chris Spies, confirmed the incident and said that there is very little information available at this stage.
“Reports available indicate that the George police were alerted about the incident at about 11:00 this morning, Wednesday 21 June. A search party consisting of various emergency services was assembled and dispatched to the scene.
"The operation which is underway was hampered by adverse weather conditions. However, our police divers are still on scene,” he said.
The search and rescue operation continues.
