GEORGE NEWS - Inspired by Johann and Lisa Swanepoel’s vision of “building a longer table, not a higher fence,” the Dine Together event at The Hubhouse in Groenkloof Retirement Village brought young and old together for a heartwarming meal last week Friday, 8 August.
This fairy-tale-like gathering was a hit! The evening was filled with delicious food and community spirit.
Calvin Steyn’s violin added an Italian charm, delighting everyone. The tables were decorated with love by the community, and welcomed all - especially residents missing family abroad.
This lovely event is held every second month. Tickets cover the meal and are sold only by reservation due to limited space.
“It’s about sharing food and smiles,” says Lisa, already looking forward to the next event.
Kids are welcome, making it a true family affair in a safe, cozy setting.
Follow “Dine Together” on Facebook to book your spot or call The Hubhouse at 044 810 0810 for details.
