GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Men with a taste for 4 x 4 adventure can take part in the Life Challenge, an epic two-day raid tour set to take place on Saturday and Sunday, 7 and 8 November. Participants will cover between 600 and 700km navigating the Baviaans Kloof and other amazing Karoo destinations, doing non-strenuous team building activities.
Entry includes an overnight stay with dinner and breakfast, snacks and coffee along the way, Sunday lunch, branded clothing items and, of course, great prizes.
The event is limited to 10 vehicles and four men per vehicle.
The challenge is the brainchild of Sean Evans, the force behind 252 Adventure, and David May, the pastor and marketing coordinator at Life Community Services. 252 Adventure focuses on facilitating outdoor adventure-based activities that build into the lives of men, fatherless boys and help grow and champion father / son relationships.
Cost per vehicle is R10 000. To book, phone May on 074 889 7956 or Evans on 082 698 3204. Proceeds will go toward caring for the 1 600 children in the care of Life Community Services.
