GEORGE NEWS & VIDEO - Geared up with enthusiasm, vigour for life, walking sticks, wheelchairs and smiles, residents of Groenkloof and neighbouring communities attended the first ever Groenkloof Fun Walk held by CAW Bio, that provides biokinetic treatment at Groenkloof.
This family event took place on Saturday morning 25 March and consisted of a 1km, 3km and 5km walk to allow all walkers of different fitness levels to enjoy the beautiful surrounds.
Free drinks were sponsored by CAW Bio and were enjoyed at Nostalgie Café at Groenkloof on completion of the race where a cheerful atmosphere prevailed. Residents who did not compete, supported participants along the route.
Blessed with a beautiful sunny day nearly 250 participants enjoyed the fun and laughter and being able to socialise and have fun with their families.

About 200 people took part in the walk on the lovely grounds of Groenkloof.
