GEORGE NEWS - ANC’s Langa Langa confirmed this afternoon that the planned march for tomorrow, Thursday 24 August, will indeed take place.
He said it will include all communities, leaving no one behind.
“This march is not about political parties, but about the pleas of the people. As leaders of political parties, we decided to get together and take this initiative,” said Langa.
The march will start at Fourways in Thembalethu and move down Nelson Mandela Boulevard, towards George Municipality.
“An opportunity to include people marching from Pacaltsdorp was granted, with the condition to find a convenor, deputy convenor as well as a few marshals from this area to be included in the application, but this was turned down by the political leaders from the areas for their own reasons.”

The expected duration of the march is from 09:00 - 13:00.
