GARDEN ROUTE | KAROO NEWS - The award was presented to the Advertiser at the mayor’s office on Thursday, 1 June.
The award is part of a new initiative driven by the Mayor’s Office in collaboration with Mossel Bay Tourism to support, boost and thank local businesses.
Mossel Bay Advertiser is the first recipient of the Mayoral Iconic Mossel Bay Business Award.
Operations director of Group Editors, Servaas de Kock, Mossel Bay Advertiser editor Suzette Herrer and news editor of the Mossel Bay Advertiser, Louise Karsten, met with the Executive Mayor Dirk Kotzé and Portfolio Chairperson of Corporate Services, Councillor Nickey le Roux, Portfolio Chairperson of Finance, Councillor Mark Furness and the Speaker, Alderlady Venolea Fortuin for a meet and greet at the Mayor's office.
During the meeting, the newspaper was given recognition as Iconic Business in Mossel Bay.
