SEDGEFIELD NEWS - There's only one more day to go before the 2022 Hollard Daredevil Run makes its way to Sedgefield, purple Speedos and all, for a run to raise awareness of, as well as funds for the fight against cancer.
The idea behind the Daredevil Run is to 'run cancer outta your hood', and this year it's going to be even bigger, braver, and ballsier than before with seven teams/events taking part in the run in the Western Cape alone.
There are a number of events around the country, and brave men from every corner of South Africa will don their purple Hollard Daredevil Run Speedos and take to their streets to run cancer outta their hoods.
All proceeds raised through the event go to Cansa and the Prostate Cancer Foundation of South Africa.
While there won't be one in George this year, the Slow Town will be taken by a purple storm as gents take to the streets of Sedgefield for the only run in the Garden Route.
You can come out and see gents of every age and size donning purple Speedos, and pledge your support by cheering them on and making a donation to the cause.
For more information on the event and how you can get involved, contact Shelley on 076 866 1239.
