GEORGE NEWS - Special law enforcement operations are taking action against illegal taxi operators in certain areas of town.

An interdict obtained by George Municipality in January of this year stipulates that any operator providing service without a valid operating licence will be subject to immediate arrest and impoundment of the illegal vehicle until such time as the case has been heard in court.

We apologise for this inconvenience to residents caused by continued disregard of the law by illegal operators and will provide regular updates regarding the situation.

Go George delays on Parkdene routes

All buses from Parkdene are currently delayed due to circumstances beyond our control.

Affected routes: Route 15 Parkdene-CBD, Route 18 Parkdene-Blanco, Route 16 Parkdene-GR Mall and Route 51 Parkdene Community.
