Unfortunately masses of grass invaded the island recently. One of the units from the Rosemoor Pathfinder Club (affiliated to the Seventh Day Adventist Church), spent the day cutting and bundling the grass into huge heaps. This will allow for more indigenous trees and shrubs to be planted on the island.
This is a wonderful community project driven by GARDAG (Garden Route Dam Action Group) and has involved local businesses, the municipality, schools, youth groups and nature loving individuals.
