GARDEN ROUTE NEWS - Dr André Hattingh, founder and executive director of Pediatric Care Africa, left Louis Trichardt on Sunday 13 February from where he will travel 7 000km, visiting the most northern, southern, eastern and western points in South Africa accessible by road bike, as a fundraiser for 1 000 underprivileged children who need surgical treatment.
Bikers from the Garden Route will join Hattingh for the third Ride for a Child charity motorbike ride on Saturday 26 February.
Riders from Mossel Bay, George, Oudtshoorn and surrounding areas will meet at the Sasol George Highway at 08:00, from where they will travel to Jeffrey's Bay.
