GEORGE NEWS - George Municipality is allowing restaurants to apply for ‘pavement permits’ over the festive season, to assist restaurants to inch closer to their original capacities as they have to implement social distancing measures due to COVID-19.
A ‘pavement permit’ will provide restaurants with additional floor space to place their tables, taking Covid-19 amended level 1 regulations into account. These permits will be applicable until 16 January 2022.
