GEORGE NEWS - Celebrations were in full swing at York High School earlier today as they proudly announce a remarkable pass rate of 98.9%, a Bachelor Rate of 85,9% and boasts 26 A-aggregates.

The school’s outstanding pass rate is a testament to the hard work and dedication of both teachers and learners. The headmaster, Francois Moll, said they are “extremely excited” and very happy with the 85,9% bachelor rate.

“That is what we look at, the quality of the pass rate. I think in this whole national debate about pass rate people forget to look at quality. I’m proud of our learners, dedicated staff and parents. The support we have had from the district has also been tremendous.”
