GEORGE NEWS - A pedestrian sustained serious injuries when he was hit by a car on the N2 near the Glentana offramp last night (Saturday 6 January).
The accident happened shortly after 20:00.
Paramedics managed to stabilise him on scene before he was rushed to George Hospital.
According to ER24 spokesperson, Werner Vermaak, the exact circumstances surrounding the collision are not yet known.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
