GEORGE NEWS - One of the occupants of the Nissan Skyline that was involved in an accident in Nelson Mandela Boulevard last night is fighting for his life in the Grootte Schuur Hospital.
He is Arno Boltman, a matric pupil of Outeniqua High, who is in the midst of his matric exam.
His mother, Elsabe, spoke to George Herald from Gootte Schuur, wanting to thank all the people who have been phoning and sending messages of encouragement.
A very emotional Boltman said there is bleeding on Arno's brain. "He has been in the operating theatre for four hours now and it is continuing. My son is in a critical conditon."
She and Arno's dad, Rudolf, have been inundated by messages and calls. "Everyone is praying and we are extremely grateful for the support in this difficult time. We ask that people please continue praying for him."
