Apart from the computer which contains their events listing not only for their holiday programme, but for the whole year, a number of other items was also stolen. These include snacks from their tuckshop,
paintbrushes, masks which they use in plays and stationery. Several other computers and valuables were left untouched, giving the impression that the perpetrators were very young. The toilet window was bashed in with a stone from the open passage which is easily accessable from the roof.
Cleaning staff gave Dr Mohammed a call on Sunday after having cleaned up after a function held on Saturday to inform her of the break-in. "In the years of doing this work I think I have moved beyond being upset. The community can no longer just stand idly by. If we don’t unite in this battle, we are going to loose it."
