GEORGE NEWS - Due to mechanical issues with a number of refuse vehicles, the George Municipality's Cleansing Department will take longer than usual to collect black bags this week.
The trucks will follow their regular routes and may return to some routes the next day to complete collection.
Currently, they are focusing predominantly on the collection of black bags. Blue bags will be collected later with a tipper truck.
Residents are asked to please leave their blue bags out.
