GEORGE NEWS - The police are looking for various silver plated homeware items that were stolen from a house in Heatherlands on 1 August.

A teapot, entrée dish, a soup tureen, a 14 piece cake set and teaspoons are amongst the items.

Any person with information regarding the stolen items are asked to contact Detective Sgt Andile Baxa on 044 803 4714 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.

The police are looking for various silver plated homeware items that were stolen.

Items resembling the items in the photos, were stolen.

The George police are asking the public to either mark their valuable belongings or keep a record of the serial numbers. 

This will assist the police in identifying the items and tracking down the owner should the items be found.

The police also urge the public to invest in a tracking system for their valuables to assist in locating the rightful owners of stolen property.
